The Suite Escape – Tesla Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Suite Escape LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at suiteescape.io (the “Site”) and any Tesla vehicle rental or related services you book or purchase through the Site (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Site, booking a Tesla rental, or taking possession of any rental vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site or our Services.

2. Our services and fleet

We specialize in premium electric vehicle rentals in Los Angeles, featuring Tesla vehicles equipped with advanced driver‑assistance features, including Full Self‑Driving (FSD) where available and enabled. Our current fleet includes, among others, Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3, and Cybertruck vehicles maintained to high standards and offered with concierge‑style delivery and pick‑up in the LAX and greater Los Angeles area.

Vehicle features, options, and availability may vary by booking and are subject to change at any time.

3. Eligibility and driver requirements

By making a booking or driving a rental vehicle, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 21  years old (or the minimum age we specify during booking).

  • You hold a valid driver’s license recognized in California and appropriate for operating a passenger vehicle.

  • You have at least 2 years of recent driving experience and a safe driving record (as we may assess at our discretion).

  • You are not under any medical condition or impairment that could affect safe driving.

We may request and retain copies of your driver’s license and other identification and may deny or cancel a booking if you do not meet our requirements.

4. Bookings, pricing, and payment

All bookings are subject to availability and our acceptance. Prices shown on the Site are in USD and may be subject to taxes, fees, and optional extras (such as additional coverage, additional drivers, or special delivery locations).

By confirming your booking, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for:

  • The rental fee for the booked period.

  • Any applicable taxes and fees.

  • Any additional services or extras you select.

We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in pricing and to cancel a booking if payment is not successfully authorized.

5. Security deposit and authorization hold

Before the rental begins, we may place a pre‑authorization hold or collect a security deposit on your payment card to cover potential additional charges, including damage, extra cleaning, Supercharger fees, tolls, citations, or late return fees.

You authorize us to deduct from the deposit or charge your payment method for amounts due under these Terms, including after the rental ends, once relevant charges are identified and documented.

6. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Your booking is subject to the cancellation and modification policy shown at the time of booking and in your confirmation email. Unless otherwise specified:

  • Cancellations made at least 5 days before the start of the rental may receive a full or partial refund as stated in the booking terms.

  • Cancellations made within 5 days of the rental start, no‑shows, or early returns may be non‑refundable or partially refundable at our discretion.

We may cancel or modify a booking due to vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or events beyond our reasonable control, in which case we will use reasonable efforts to offer an alternative vehicle or a refund consistent with the applicable policy.

7. Vehicle delivery, pick‑up, and return

We offer delivery and pick‑up options, including LAX and selected locations across Los Angeles, as described on the Site and during checkout. Your confirmation will state the agreed delivery/pick‑up location and times.

You agree to:

  • Arrive on time at the agreed delivery or pick‑up location and follow our instructions for vehicle hand‑off.

  • Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location, or obtain our written approval for any change.

  • Contact us promptly if you anticipate being late.

Late returns may result in additional hourly or daily charges and may affect future booking eligibility.

8. Use of Tesla features and Full Self‑Driving (FSD)

Our vehicles may be equipped with Tesla Autopilot and/or Full Self‑Driving (FSD) features. These are advanced driver‑assistance systems, not a replacement for an attentive human driver.

By renting our vehicles, you agree that:

  • You remain fully responsible at all times for the safe operation of the vehicle, even when Autopilot or FSD is engaged.

  • You will keep your hands on the steering wheel, maintain full attention to the road, and be ready to take over immediately.

  • You will use Autopilot/FSD only in conditions and locations appropriate for such features, following Tesla’s and our guidance.

  • You will not attempt to modify, circumvent, or misuse safety systems (including seat sensors, cameras, or steering wheel detection).

We are not responsible for any accidents, citations, or damages resulting from improper or unsafe use of Autopilot or FSD.

9. Charging, Supercharger fees, and battery level

You may use Tesla Superchargers and other compatible charging stations during your rental, subject to their terms of use and fees.

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for any Tesla Supercharger fees and idle fees incurred during your rental, which may be billed to us by Tesla after the trip and passed through to you.

  • You will return the vehicle with at least the same battery level at pickup (or the level stated in your booking); if not, a charging fee may apply.

  • You will not allow the battery to reach critically low levels or remain at 0% for extended periods, as this can damage the battery.

We may charge a reasonable fee for time and costs associated with recharging the vehicle if returned under the agreed battery level.

10. Prohibited uses

You agree that you will not use the rental vehicle for any of the following:

  • Illegal activities or in violation of any traffic or safety law.

  • Racing, off‑roading, towing, or performance testing.

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances.

  • Transporting hazardous materials or engaging in reckless or aggressive driving.

  • Allowing anyone not listed as an approved driver to operate the vehicle.

You will not disable or tamper with any onboard systems, including cameras, GPS, safety sensors, or telematics devices.

11. Condition of vehicle, damage, and cleaning

You agree to inspect the vehicle at delivery and report any visible damage or issues before driving away. If you fail to report existing damage at the start of the rental, you may be held responsible for it upon return.

You are responsible for:

  • Any damage to the vehicle (inside or outside), including wheels, tires, glass, underbody, and interior.

  • Missing accessories (e.g., charging cable, adapters, key cards, floor mats, mini‑fridge components).

  • Excessive dirt, stains, odors (including smoke), or spills requiring deep cleaning.

We may charge repair or replacement costs and reasonable administrative fees as permitted by applicable law, supported by documentation.

12. Traffic violations, tolls, and incidents

You are responsible for all traffic and parking citations, tolls, fines, penalties, and other charges incurred during your rental period.

You agree to:

  • Pay such amounts directly when possible.

  • Reimburse us for any citations, tolls, or related administrative fees that are billed to or discovered by us after the rental.

  • Notify us immediately if the vehicle is involved in any accident, damaged, stolen, or if you receive any notice of violation relating to the vehicle.

In the event of an accident, you must follow applicable law, seek emergency assistance if needed, and obtain police and/or incident reports where required.

13. Insurance and liability

You must have valid auto insurance coverage that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements for operating a vehicle in California, or accept and pay for any coverage options we may offer at the time of booking, where available.

Our liability to you is limited as follows, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your rental or use of the vehicle.

  • Our total liability for direct damages, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the rental giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

If you create an account or otherwise interact with us via the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
